Something about us and why us

The unique hobby breeding Supercats Blondie was established in 2018. We are a small family breeding station "hereinafter referred to as ChS" in Prague, which was not founded for profit, but because of a dream that came true thanks to the beasts and their breeding. Now YOU can experience it too. We meet all legal requirements, and we are an approved facility for breeding CITES II animals.

Serval Care

It's not as complicated as it seems, you don't have to worry about the complexity of care, on the contrary, you will be pleasantly surprised. Just follow a few basic tips from us.

By law (in the Czech Republic and Slovakia) it is necessary to have an outdoor aviary for breeding approval. Servals cannot be legally kept in a classic apartment. We will advise on legislation and the construction of an aviary, or arrange it if necessary.

Our servals are less powerful and very well-endowed cats. Females weigh 10-12kg, males weigh around 14-16kg, so you don't have to worry about heavy cats that will eat everything they see, but beautiful athletic show figures that their offspring will show. Servals are great to tame and can be loving companions that are clean and will learn to use the cat toilet and walk on a leash. They are a great compromise between a dog and a cat. At the beginning, like any animal in adolescence, you need to pay more attention, build a relationship, and teach it. Thanks to the time investment and effort in the developing age, you will later reap the fruits in the form of a great character in adulthood.

We will add a tailor-made "instruction manual" to each kitten in the new family, where all the know-how is included. We will be happy to discuss any details in our lifelong support.

All young animals, whether caracal or serval, are a challenge that will change your life.

And to make your start as easy as possible, the kittens will be healthy, tested, without genetic defects. Social and with great prospects to be a wonderful new member of the family or breeding. We guarantee that! How? By contract. By investing in a quality serval kitten, you will save your wallet in the future, as well as the nerves associated with future veterinary expenses in the case of an unhealthy kitten, which often ends in death.

The rest of the money for the kitten will be paid on the same day when the kitten is handed over with all its documents. On that day, it will go to its new home.

Price

The price is decided individually, although we have set it and it may vary in exceptional cases.

A quality serval is not cheap, but it lives for 15-20 years and you don't have to start saving for it like you do for children :D. It really doesn't pay to save, it can very likely result in subsequent necessary veterinary care, not to mention incalculable stress and fear for the animal's life. Over the past five years, we have heard and seen many sad stories. Genetic defects in particular may not appear immediately, but on the contrary, they may appear after the animal's first year of life. Don't take any chances.

More in the ten tips "How to buy a serval" below.

To follow a dream

We put the profits from the sale of kittens back into the station so that our breeding, our furry spotted "children" have the best possible life. The highest quality food, entertainment, improvements to outdoor aviaries, and also the necessary professional veterinary care, which is doubly necessary for mothers and their kittens.

We were most keen on having the cats in the house with us. They move around and live with us. Of course, they also have their own space in the house – rooms equipped with entertainment, and especially for the females, rooms that serve as maternity wards and rooms with kittens.

GOOD TEN "how to buy a quality serval"

1. Credibility of the kennel pages – Facebook, website, Instagram. How long have they been posting, is the profile older? Is it active? Do you recognize the same animals in multiple photos (photo theft is a common thing for scammers)? Does it have videos? Does the breeder himself appear there? Does he have the address of the kennel, or does he have reviews from buyers? Is he interested in you and the conditions for his kitten with the new owner? 8x YES is correct. Beware of fictitious sellers - scammers, they abuse photos, have suspicious, but tempting prices. They will lure you into paying a financial deposit and then you will not see the money or the promised animal. The deposit is a standard issue when reserving a kitten.
2. The breeder communicates, offers you a video call - shows the breeding, the animals. How much information does the seller tell you when selling? Does he flatter you? Does he smear others and tell you that you can get the same thing from him for half the price as elsewhere? HAHA, barely!
3. He will personally invite you to his zoo, where you can take a look without obligation.
4. Suspiciously low price – a price below 100,000 CZK stinks. It is impossible to pay taxes, run a quality breeding with such a price for kittens, usually these are breeding farms and you support breeding that borders on cruelty. See the point "PRICE"
5. It is better to buy an animal locally than from abroad, this eliminates the risk of fraud.
6. Quality breeders offer a contract, and thus a contractual guarantee on the kitten (up to 1-2 years of life for genetic defects) and lifelong advice.
7. The breeder's animals look healthy, happy, are social and have decent living conditions.
8. Assistance from the breeder with permitting and registering the animal with the authorities for legal possession.
9. The animal must have all the documents – chip, passport, proper contract, CITES registration certificate (when sold in the Czech Republic). The breeder will show you where the chip is located on your kitten, and will use a reader to show its number. The chip number matches the information in the kitten's documents.
10. The kitten is vaccinated, and this is recorded in the passport (the serval is vaccinated a little later than a regular cat, the first dose at 9-10 weeks, the second at 13-14 weeks of age).

Where are we from?
