What exactly is kombucha?

Kombucha is a fermented tea full of bubbles and flavor . We make it from quality tea, sugar and the SCOBY culture, which is the heart of the whole process.

SCOBY (short for "symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeasts") is a live culture of bacteria and yeast that ferments the tea. It creates acids, bubbles, microorganisms, and other beneficial substances in kombucha.
